The
coffee bean comes from an evergreen tree grown in a narrow subtropical belt
between the Tropic of Cancer (in the northern hemisphere) and the Tropic of
Capricorn (in the southern hemisphere). The three major growing regions are: Latin America and the
Caribbean Islands, Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, and Indonesia.
Coffee is also grown in Hawaii, India and in Southeast Asia. Click on the links
